ConstructSim Work Package Server Setup Guide

Publishing i-models

The Administrator uses ConstructSim Executive to set up the i-model publishing workflow configuration.

Note: In order to create an .imodel file, you need to have ConstructSim iModel Publisher installed on your system.

You can publish an i-model without performing the entire End-to-End Data Run (see To Publish the i-model Using the Intra-Week Workflow).

Using the Publish model for Bentley Navigator node, you can create and publish an i-model which includes graphics, components, bookmarks, work packages, user defined groups, and status visualization information.

An i-model takes all the information from the database to allow you to see all the data without having to install ConstructSim Planner.

To set up the workflow, go to the WorkFlow window, select Workflows > ConstructSim Project > Publish model for Bentley Navigator.

To configure publishing of the i-model for Bentley Navigator V8i version, right-click Publish .i.dgn and from the pop-up menu, click Properties.
